These ship in a plastic, non-rigid bag, ideally whatever else arrives in the same package will not reshape the filter screen, as was the case with the 6-cup version of this product I received (which was ultimately a non-issue). The smaller screen size here MAY make it slightly more difficult to reshape it if needed, I did not try this.I have not used my 1-cup so often (especially compared to my 6-cup), mostly because it is 1-tiny-cup… however, a nice clean silicone seal and what in my case is an upgraded (more shiny, more smooth) filter screen for my off-brand Moka are a nice step up, making this a good value. I was actually concerned with an off-brand Moka that screens and seals might not fit as well, but no such concerns.

These fit perfectly on my Bialetti 1-cup espresso maker. I put in the filter and the ring, then boiled the espresso maker without coffee, just as I did when I first used it, to clean them. When making coffee, some water came out of the sides, even though the top was tightly closed. However, even the genuine seals still leak, so that's understandable.After using it, I checked how the sealing ring was. It was fine, with no pressed marks, discoloration, or heat damage.I would definitely buy it again when my three rings deteriorate, but they should last a long time!
