I've needed this new shaft on my 1982 Simplicity HT12 for a few years now. This past summer I developed a noisy bearing. Rather then put new bearings on a really damaged shaft, it was time to replace it. It came quickly and was easy to install. Don't forget to add or remove shims in the spindle. Too lose and you will tear up the spindle housing and too tight and the bearings won't last.
