We had our AC checked out for a tune up and found out the outside unit was running even when the inside unit was off. The AC repair company showed me what was going on in the unit and that the relay switch was staying in the open position. The showed me the pictures of it and then the piece itself. They pullout out the handy dandy estimator iPad and gave me a quote for just over a grand to replace it. I said I would hold off as we might be looking at replacing the whole unit as well because it is 16 years old. Well go to the new age encyclopedia and look for the part and videos on how hard or easy it is to change. Found out that this is a easy change and look at the price of this baby. Ordered this part and perfect match. Took a few pictures of the old in with the wires and location. Turned off all power and changed it out. Easy and saved me a lot of money.Over all make sure this unit will work inside your unit and it is a go from there. The quality of the material it is replacing was of the same quality and craftsmanship. This will product should last a while and also a nice added feature was the cover over the relay portion.
