We have tried using rubber mats to protect our stainless steel sink from scratches. They do the job, but they can be difficult to keep clean. This wire metal sink protector has done a great job of protecting the bottom of the sink from getting scratched, but also makes it easy to rinse the bottom of the sink to get rid of debris and food waste. This wire rack is a great solution. Suggest measuring your sink well, as I didn’t and should have ordered a size larger, but that’s on me.

I wanted to protect the bottom of my sink as well as keep my dishes elevated when cleaning from all the runoff of the dirty food water and helps a lot in doing so. I measured as best as I could and I found that this grate fits but is smaller than what I expected, there is about an inch of wiggle room. The quality feels nice and sturdy and is easy to clean. Even with being slightly too small, it functions the way it needs to in keeping my dishes elevated.
