I ordered this soap dish / traveling case from the Xohairp store because of its multi-purpose function capabilities. I needed a soap dish, and this easily can hold my bar soap in half of the case. I can rest the soap on the base of the case, or I could can use the black tray so that the soap doesn't rest in the water from the shower. The soap can dry completely before its next use. The great thing about this product, though, is that it can also be used as a travel case for soap. I can take soap from my house to a hotel and still be able to use the scented soaps that I like rather than using one that the hotel provides.The soap dish is pretty large measuring about 6 inches in length with a width of nearly 3.25 inches. It's also 3.25 inches in height so it can hold a pretty large bar of soap. This soap dish fits easily on my counter top, but just barely fits on the built-in shelf in my shower. It works nicely for my purposes so I'm pleased with it. It was a good price for the quality of the hardshell plastic case.

Digging through my old storage boxes found few pieces of fancy orient soap that I never managed to use and thought I'd turn to classics and find me a soap box to alternate with ubiquitous liquid soap. This soap box is a decent product and it serves its purpose. I wanted something a bit smaller, but I'll make this work.The top and bottom covers are identical, with a perforated tray for residue water to drain (it is black though and with soap bars usually light in color, there will likely be conspicuous soap stains on it). I don't dislike the feel of this plastic (a bit cheap but pleasant to the touch); the parts have a satisfying snag fit - I even put it together and apart a few times for pure enjoyment with how they fit :). Cleaning was quick and easy.Not sure if I would use this for travel, especially air travel - the build is very light. Maybe if you're careful, but hey - tell that to the airport staff. A small lockable liquid soap bottle would seem more practical to me for outside use.With that said, I just needed it for my bathroom and it is fine as it is. Not stunned, but quite satisfied with the product.

I've tried two different types of soap dishes, a bamboo one which drains and it made soap scum down the tile in the shower. Then I tried a soap dish with a tray that didn't leak and it would fill up with water and would keep the soap wet and soft. This soap dish is probably intended for travel but it works perfectly in the shower and keeps the soap dry after use.
