Our molds for casting are manufactured on high-precision CNC machine using 3D models. Each Maryllsmolds molds is quality controlled. We make trial casting, which confirms the quality.
Making a lure with injection mold will require some level of trial and error from you, as each lure is different .Using of different types and grades of plastisol will require changes in the mold procedure, taking into account the characteristics of each type of plastisol. Experiment with plastisol temperature, injection pressure and holding time to find the optimal forming parameters. For good spillage heat mold to 100-120° F. More detailed instructions are included with the mold.

This is one of the first aluminum molds I have tested from this manufacturer. I have tested a large number of their simulated stone molds that have largely worked very well. This aluminum mold is no exception.The finished baits come out clean and well formed. The aluminum material eliminates the need to brush the mold with oil prior to injecting. The aluminum is lightweight and easy to handle. I found that pre-heating the mold in a toaster oven really helps the silicone flow through and completely fill before starting to cool.The vent holes are minimal and the lures require only a little cleanup once cured. I much prefer this mold to the simulated stone variety, but they are both well made and should last a long time.

This made in Ukraine aluminum soft plastic mold is excellent quality and is crafted from a solid block of aluminum which is 1" thick. It is designed to create two 5" Super Flukes at a time and has the exact shape of the Zoom Super Salty Super Flukes. The injector port hole is the standard 5/8" in diameter which is compatable with most soft plastic injectors on the market. There are air vents strategically located to make sure that soft plastic fills the entire inner mold cavity for perfect results every time. You do not need to oil the inner part of an aluminum mold like you do for stone molds which eliminates a step in the process. Making your own soft plastic lures is fun and a great way to use your creativity with mixing colors and adding scents and flash to create the ultimate fish catching baits! If you do a lot of fishing it is worth it to invest in high quality molds like this one and soft plastic to make your own lures instead of paying for bagged ones in the stores which can get quite costly since soft plastic baits get torn up by the fish fairly quickly depending on which toothy predators you are going after. I highly recommend this top quality heavy duty mold to everyone who likes to make their own soft plastic baits.

Great quality mold. Good machining on these. I now own several molds from this brand and I've had nothing but positive results from the molds. I have two molds from Epic Bait Molds that costs more than twice the price but I get same results. Now don't get me wrong, Epic Bait Molds makes super quality molds but I only have two molds from them because they are quite pricey and I don't make molds for YouTube or do it for a living. This is a good budget choice.

I am just getting into making my own lures and this mold is really easy to use. The quality seems nice and on par compared to other molds I have used. Heavy duty, good quality. I would definitely recommend to beginners or anyone wanting to make their own lures.

These molds are fairly straightforward. The aluminum molds are more expensive than the manufactured stone ones but they draw the heat out of your casting faster making it easier to make more lures faster. This particular mold being a dual one makes it easy to crank out several flukes. I don't personally need the high capacity but it's still a great mold that is not made in China.
