Ordered this prop for a 2-stroke 70hp Yamaha. It currently has a 13.5 inch 15 pitch and pushes the boat 33 mph at 5200 RPM. I was looking for a prop that would increase full throttle RPM to 5500 as suggested in the motors service manual. Dropping the pitch from 15 to 13 should have accomplished this objective.Installed this new prop and the motor could reach 6000 RPM and speed dropped to 31 MPH. At 5200 RPM boat speed was down to 25 MPH.Description says that this is a good choice for all around use, but it is clearly designed for low speed high power applications. If you have a heavy boat, want to pull tube's, fish with a couple of fat friends or push a barge load of bulk commodity up river, this is the prop for you.This was not for me, but it is a well made prop at a good price, smooth and shiny, didn't cause any vibration or noise. The seller was quick to ship and great about the return and refund.
