Shipped quickly. I would haveGiven 5 stars if had directionsFor installation. Once figured out that had to use bushing from old prop to tighten down to manufacturers torque reccomendedOf 40 ft lbs. With out bushing it pinProp so wouldn't turn with just hand tight. Once installation was complete. It gets boat up on planeAnd holds it at full throttle originalProp would porpoise if increased throttle. Does seem slightly slowerWas better overall. This is on a v16Alumacraft with 40hp mariner magnum. I also have mounted in second holes from bottom on transom.

I bought this for my 23' Mercury 50 4S. I didn't realize until I received the new prop that the OEM prop was actually 14 pitch not 13. That said there was not any adverse effects on the boat performance, same top speed, same holeshot. My only complaint is that this prop doesn't stay hooked up as well as the black max. It ventilates with very little trim, and easily in hard turns.

Performs better than the Blackmax Mercury prop. Dropped in pitch but have better holes hot and same overall speed. Due to wider blade and larger diameter prop.
