This tent is huge. I really like the different room areas. It is very thin though and not easy to assemble. You will also need a big place to set up. Good for a big family

Used 1st time this past weekend. Ring and screws for poles sewn into stake grommet area caused holes in tent. Holes caused tent to leak. Windows held water between tent and screen for a little while before leaking as well.

is there some replacement poles for the door entry, the 2 smaller sizes, one side snapped after using it.

I wouldn’t say this tent is lightweight. You’re never taking it backpacking due to the weight. That aside the tent can be assembled/disassembled by one person and it is very spacious. It is waterproof. No sooner had I set up the tent a massive hail storm came along and the inside was bone dry.

Just took this bad boy camping for 4 days. Held up well on our trip. It fit back in the bag...which to me is the greatest struggle! Assembly wasn't too bad, I did a trial run before the trip so I would know where to start. I worked out well for my family, 5 of us. A teenager, a 4 and 5 year old and my hubby and myself. Fit 3 air mattresses easily! Love it, great investment!

I purchased this a year ago and then had some family issues that prevented me from using it. I used it for the first time 7/3-6/20. It was great! Tons of compliments. Said it would take 30 mins to put up and it took us 45. I was pleased. We took it down, folded and stored properly. Just went on our next camping trip today, 8/21. Opened it up and we’re determined to beat our 45 minute time. As we pull out the poles, one of the ropes inside of the poles is snapped and pole unusable. Luckily I’m a firefighter. I tied a few knots, pulled really hard and managed to tie it up and get it to work. Was excited that my family with kids didn’t have to sleep in the truck. Was going to contact the company when I got home for a new pole maybe.Six hours later my daughter goes to bed and as she opens her side, the pole that goes over her side entrance (different pole) is weird looking and she can’t unzip the door. It’s pitch dark. I bring over a light and see it looks like the pole is in half (not bent like it should be). I try to pull on it and that piece pole through the fabric and rips a huge hole. Now that door can’t be used. So two times used, and this tent is now unusable and I’m furious because I can’t return it since I had it almost a year without using it.

+++UPDATE AT END OF FIRST REVIEW+++Our son likes to call it "the camper without wheels". It takes two people about 20 minutes to set up once you know what you're doing. The instructions are not super clear- so do a set up in your yard first. 2 adults, 3 teenagers, 1 queen size air mattress, 3 twin size air mattresses, all our gear, and the dog fit comfortably- with room to set up a small card table. It is tall enough you can stand up to full height. The peak of the roof is at least 7'. The rain fly has been seam sealed but the tent has not. You will need to do some kind of waterproof treatment! We did 2 waterproofing treatments with Scotchgard -The last trip we had two nights of pretty serious thunderstorms, the tent did not leak. Some things that were shoved against the sides did get damp. There is a tarpaulin bottom, but it does not go up the side walls. We do put a 20'x19' tarp under it for a ground cloth and cut to fit the footprint of the tent. The storage bag is crap, it tore after the third time picking it up by the handle, we now store it in a Rubbermaid tote with wheels. I do wish it had swinging doors instead of zip up doors.+++UPDATE+++After a full camping season, this tent is awesome! It held up through storms, light rain, sunshine, and even light snow. Once we just crammed it in the back of the truck because it poured the rain as we broke camp. There are no tears or worn spots. We became masters at setting up this beast.. it took me and my skinny 14-year-old son to set it up in 12 minutes. We just pulled it out of the shed where it was stored for the winter. It's still in great shape. We have it up in the yard to air out and do another water repellant treatment.

We have a family of six and bought this oversized tent so we could comfortably fit 4 cots and a queen air bed with plenty of space to move around. I am somewhat claustrophobic and like to feel like I have plenty of space. I am 5'6'' and can stand in this tent with plenty of room over my head! There are screens windows on all sides to allow good air flow throughtout the tent which is important to us because we camp in hotter climates. It is so easy to set up. My husband and I can assemble this tent together in under 20 minutes. Tear down takes less than ten and my husband easily repacked the tent into its carrying case. It is very compact when its packed into the carrying case which is amazing for such a large tent.
