This review is for the Spiral Notebook Journal, A5 Hardcover Notebook offered by MGGAO.It arrived shrink-wrapped and in good condition. Since it’s thin and flat, these kinds of notebooks usually ship in a thin envelope, but the hardcover is sturdy enough that it showed up without any damage.The paper is the real highlight. As a fountain pen user, I’m always testing for quality. I cut a 10x10 cm square from a page and weighed it—it came out to exactly 1 gram, confirming the 100gsm spec.To put it through its paces, I used my wettest pen with Pilot Iroshizuku ink and scribbled a saturated block. The page puckered slightly (which flattened after drying), but there was no bleed-through at all. The paper is smooth but not waxy, and it takes ink beautifully. No feathering, no smudging, just clean lines. Ink colors really stand out on the bright matte white surface.The notebook lies flat thanks to the ring binding, and pages tear out easily. The cover is thick, colorful, and cheerful without being flimsy. It’s cardboard, but it’s good cardboard.It’s a bit pricier than basic options, but the build quality and excellent paper make it a solid value. If you’re journaling or writing with purpose, this notebook is a worthy option. Some well-known premium brands fall short when it comes to paper quality—this one quietly outperforms them.

I really needed a new notebook for my morning journaling pages. This notebook fits the bill exactly. I like that this is a spiral bone notebook so I can turn the cover completely to the back. That makes it easier for writing. The paper is fine, and the space of the lines is good. There are a lot of pages in this notebook! So it should last for quite a while. I always need a notebook for jotting down ideas, or making random sketches, and journaling. The affirmation on the front of the book is the cherry on top!

Love the retro look of this journal. The cover is sturdy and the binder allows for the pages to turn smoothly. Can be opened flat or have the side turned under without any difficulty. The elastic strap helps with holding the place for the next entry. I am using this as a daily food journal as it helps me track the food I eat each day. I want to maintain the 70+ pound weight loss I have achieved since 2006.

Great A5 journal for any purpose! I bought this to use as a “commonplace book” where I can organize new information like quotes, things I’d like to learn more about, new words I come across, etc. I tested several different pens and was pleased to find that the Sharpie was the only writing utensil to bleed through the page, but it still didn’t bleed through to the following page. This would also work well as a journal.

First off, I love the groovy message on the front - Love Yourself. That's a positive vibe every time you open the notebook! Additionally, I like that it has an elastic closure to help keep the pages shut while the notebook is in a backpack/purse. The outer cover is sturdy, which is a plus if you carry the notebook around a lot. I'm looking forward to getting a ton of use out of it!

This is a cute little journal. I love the pattern ! Strong cardboard material . Strong binding .Perfect for taking notes by the computer or just popping it in your purse I love that it has a little elastic sleeve on the side that closes the Journal back up. I would recommendthis. This is adorable..

This notebook is super fun and cute. It has 204 pages, I wanted a journal for notes. I tend to make a list of groceries and bills that are due or things I want to do. Plans I want to make, or places I want to go. It's the perfect size to take on the go, I love the art work on the front of this. I am very happy with it. I think it is a good value.

A5 size so not too big or bulky for your desk. Paper is nice quality. Very satisfied and the cover is very cheerful. Would make a cute journal but I'm just using it for daily to do lists for work. Would definitely buy again. Also came in a nice thick shrinkwrap for protection. 5 stars!
