自動車のDRLを後つけした際に、12Vから14.4V程度に変圧してしまう為にデイライト用のLEDの寿命が短くなって長持ちしないので、この安定出力になるパーツを間に入れてLED球に優しくなるようにしました。コレを使い始めてからLED球の断線故障が無くなり、すごく役立ってくれています。

Used to clean the power signal going to a vehicle cb and gmrs radio install, and works great. Used a multimeter to verify a clean 12v to my devives, instead of a fluctuating 12-15v signal from the alternator. The radio electronics are sensitive, so hopefully this protects them.

A very nice and compact 12Vdc to 24Vdc boost converter.It puts out 24Vdc as advertised, and able to deliver 3A, notes: I did not draw 3A from the out for a long period of time, I only plane to draw about 80% of the rated spec to make the unit last longer.Overall it is not a bad boost converter.

This is a great little unit for stepping up voltage to electronics or lights. It comes with spring clip connectors on the input and output wires. but take care to check how they are attached as my output was inserted with a different polarity convention than I would have used, with black negative to the red side of the connector.Unloaded, this converter only consumes .2 watts and outputs 24.5V DC. It can be fed from 10-22V. I tested this with a 40 watt LED light, and it held over 24V and didn't seem to get warm after a couple of minutes. This is a great device to ensure that lights or other devices receive sufficient power and don't dim, even if at the end of a long or undersized wire. Since LEDs can usually operate from 9-36V and are internally regulated, doubling the voltage halves the amperage through the wiring and so less power and voltage are lost in the wiring, hence ensuring that the light or load doesn't dim.An inline fuse is included on the power in side, 10 amp blade style. The converter is rated for 3A of 24V output, so can be used for up to 75 watt loads. At 24.5V one isn't going to charge a 24v battery bank with this, but it's a great way to counter voltage drop in long transmission wires.This seems like a rugged and waterproof design, and I like the aluminum heat sink with mounting holes already to screw to a wall or engine compartment.

Installed to bring down occasional voltage of 14.3v down to 12v to protect my van cooler. First trip it failed on the second day and would have ruined all the food had the cooler alarm not sounded when the inside temperature went up 20 degrees. Fortunately I was able to bypass this voltage "stabilizer" and save the food and the trip.

The price is excellent for what is included.This regulator comes with an already wired-in fuse holder with a 10 amp fuse on the input side and two quick connectors, one on each input/output side.Based on the label this is actually a buck-boost DC converter – input range is 9-32 volts and the output is 12 volts. The max output current is rated at 5 amps. The unit is solid state and sealed so it is dust-proof, water-proof and vibration-proof, good for mobile/outside applications.Be careful when connecting the regulator – there is no reverse connection protection and connecting it incorrectly can damage the regulator. Input: red (+) black (-), Output: yellow (+) black (-).The regulator I received took an input voltage ranging from 13.3 to 14.4 volts and stabilized it down to 12.3 volts at no load. This regulator is perfect for many applications. My application –a regulated 12 volt feed with battery backup to a chicken coop door.

This Voltage Stabilizer is working out better than I expected. I needed something that would give me a steady 12 volt DC power source with a variable input supply from batteries. So far this is working out very well. I have a stack of other solutions sitting on the bench to test out but this ended up working so well I haven't even tried the other stuff. I ended up swapping the quick-connect for plugs that are better suited for my application and everything is working great and not getting hot. V very happy.
