Buying rings online is a tricky proposition. Guess the wrong size, and you're stuck mailing replacements back and forth for weeks. I've worked with custom suppliers online but never a mass market company through Amazon, so we knew the risks.But for this price and with such a nice vintage style, this ring held our attention. The stone is genuine opal and the ring sterling silver (more durable than fine silver, which will be prone to bending and scratches). Fit was a little snug, so size up if you're worried. We're keeping it though. It wouldn't be worth going through questionable customer service to make fine adjustments (that probably wouldn't solve much anyway.)

This ring is pretty. Looks delicate. Fits a little bit bigger. I wish the opal was more shiny.

I ordered this ring for myself in a size 8 and it was delivered to me wrapped so neatly in a small box. This ring is 925 sterling silver with 18k gold overlay with a beautiful opal in the center of the ring. I absolutely love how the opal catches light and sparkles shining flecks of different colors. The ring fit me great, it feels great on and it looks great on as well. This is quality crafted jewelry and I love it! I wear this ring all the time & I do recommend it to others.

I love a good dainty ring, but I am HARD on my jewelry. I am a teacher, and though I’m careful about what I do, my rings always seem to wind us squished out of shape or caught on something and yanked. This ring looks nice and dainty, but has a tough enough shank that it hasn’t squished out of round yet. Sweet little opal has lots of fire that doesn’t photograph well but looks great in natural or artificial light.My only nitpick is that I wish it came in half sizes!If you order this as a gift, be sure to unwrap the shrink wrap, take the ring out of the little baggie, and place it in the ring slot in the little box.
