the bit holders are both for the same side of the drill, so unless you need these for two drills, only order one. I assumed that they would mount on both sides of the drill grip.

I'm a carpenter and I've been using these for a few years now. My screwgun would feel naked without it.

As long as you’re not trying to hold a 3” bit, there’s little risk of them falling out. After adding these to both my impacts, I bought another set to add to the impact wrench and 90* drill. I might even add them to regular drills to hold countersinks or hex shank drill bits. Fantastic time-saving addition

This is pretty handy. And holds bits fairly convenient. The magnet strength or the position of it, where the bits attach, hold fairly well for basic bits with a flat hex bottom. If the work tip of the bit is facing the magnet, it may not hold as well. Would be nice if the magnet was a little stronger. Did not have a meter to test the gauss. The side of the magnet holds about 4-6 1.25"in.(32mm) drywall screws or 3-4 3"in.(76mm) construction screws. Try to use bits that are about 2"in.(50mm) in length, as longer ones sometimes catch. The holder can be physically spun around to move the bits out of the way of your hand. It can do this without loosening the holding screw, which is very handy. Is it worth $20? If you're constantly switching bits, and like having a few screws handy, along with an aesthetic look.....you might want to consider it. Seems more like a

Thought this was neat at first when I saw it, but it was not the right bit holder for me. I don't understand why they did not make it where the bits stand up on both sides of holder. One side does, and the bits face down on the other side. All the bits fell out when I used it the first time from minor vibration. Magnets are not that strong, and my bits wobble in the holder. I have different bits, and they are all exactly 1/4" hex, but the holder bit openings are at least 5/16" to 3/8". Only one side is useful since bits will not stay in upside down on other side. Wish it would have worked reliably, especially at this price.

I’m often doing projects with multiple bits- Torx, Phillips, square, etc. This saves me a few seconds for every bit change instead of digging in my tool bag or belt.Fantastic product with one caveat. The magnetic holder can suck up stray bits of metal. Just be aware that if drilling ferrous metals (or setting down the tool in an area with metal shavings) and you have an open hole, you may find stray bits of metal in the bit holes. Can be a pain to remove (ask me how I know after setting down the drill next to my work area where I was drilling out hoes in steel plate).

Love that it holds more than 2 bits. The magnet is pretty strong allowing you to keep extra screws/nails handy, magnetized and close by.

Hear me out.. Been working for a general contractor using my drill daily. With that being said when I first put this on my drill I didn’t like it TBH. It grabbed my gloves and was getting in the way, However this thing has saved me time and aggravation. If I’m on top of a ladder (for instance) and I need a different bit than the one I have in the drill.. hey.. there it is sitting beautifully in its spot. The magnet holds the bits well enough to keep them in place but still allows you to pull a bit out and use/exchange it. I have not had a bit fall out without me having to pull it. The magnet strip on the side doesn’t really do much for me so I can’t say good or bad. It only has one that attaches it to the drill which causes a hinge point. I use it to my advantage and let it hang down around the battery so it doesn’t get in the way. Definitely worth it.
