This charger is super light weight; there is no heft to the base at all, like there is on typical chargers. That makes it more portable in my eyes, although the prongs do not fold down (which isn't a big deal in my opinion).I tested it on my phone and my phone stated "super fast charging" and had about 33 minutes to full charge from 23.% I don't think I'll use it for my phone, but that's nice to know.It works like my OEM Deck charger, and doesn't get hot, which was my main concern.Off brand chargers do worry me, so I'll only be using it to charge while I'm playing.

This looks very similar to the official steam deck charger ours came with. This charger works as intended. While I am not using it on the steam deck considering the original works just fine, I am using it on the Nintendo switch. Switch used a 39 watt charge and this charger is 45.My 3rd party Nintendo dock takes this charger just fine. My device charged as normal and was able to stay charged while playing games docked. This is far cheaper of a purchase than buying the official Nintendo and or steam deck charger.Overall this is a quality purchase.

Shipping was super-fast, and package came well protected. The charger is a brick charger with a USB-C cord integrated into the brick housing (unable to replace cable). The cable length is plenty long so I can plug this in a wall and sit comfortably next to it while it is charging.Plugged it into the Steam Deck and it was able to charge. It looks like it will continue charging while playing (still experimenting with Steam Deck). We have the Steam Deck to stop charging at 80%.I tested this too with my Lenovo Tab Gen 3 tablet which is primarily used as a gaming tablet. I was amazed at the charging capabilities with this charger and can confirm this works wonderful with the tablet. It charges while playing and charges fast. I was surprised with this as the tablet came with a 65W charger (this one is rated at 45w) and the new charger handled this like a champ.

This is a charger designed for the Steam Deck, a handheld PC-like console that allows you to play games via Steam or use Desktop mode to act like a portable PC (fairly basic one, but it works well!). This is a USB-C charger that is also compatible with other USB-C charged devices, but please make sure to check your devices requirements before using it on anything other than a Steam Deck so you don't damage your device.This comes in a small box and is cleanly packaged. The power block isn't the most obnoxious I've ever seen but it is a bit large, so if you plan on plugging it into a power strip you will want one that doesn't have the outlets "all in a row" otherwise it will overlap other outlets unless it's at the very end of the line. The cord on this is a decent length at about 5 ft, so if you're trying to keep this by a couch or night stand it should give you decent length depending on your setup.If you are looking for something to take with you for travel, this could work but isn't the most ideal option out there. The power prongs are "fixed" so they don't fold into the brick to help store it away safely. The cord, at five feet, leaves a bigger bundle and they just secure it in the box with a standard twist tie instead of a velcro-style tie, so you'd probably want something that will hold up better over multiple uses to clean it up. There are lots of replacement chargers more designed for travel that would be a better option. This isn't awful, but worth noting I think for a portable console.Overall, this is a fine charger. Does a good job actually charging the device and isn't overly obnoxious. You "could" travel with this but better options exist. This is a solid unit for the price as long as it holds up well over time!
