This is a pretty good single channel sub amp, stable down to 1 ohm. A typical application would be a dual voice coil 2 ohm sub wired for 1 ohm, and of course it also works fine at 2 or 4 ohms if you aren't looking for peak power. Build quality seems pretty good and it comes with a remote knob that will boost low end frequencies. This amp does have MOSFET protection which is important and not found on very low end monoblock amplifiers.Connectors are good quality. Hex screws are used for the power and speaker(s) and gain control is done with trimmers that require a small screwdriver to adjust. Overall, pretty easy to install and adjust. Happy with the bass, but it's not going to break any records of course. I'm using a 12" Rockford Prime T1D212 2ohm sub, and yes the sub was more expensive than the amp but I'm just using this one to replace another amp that failed and I never had it repaired.

This is a nice inexpensive amp. You want to run a 10" sub in your Civic but don't have a lot of cash? This is the amp for you. Has a remote and it's relatively compact without feeling "cheap" so it's easy to mount and run. Don't forget wiring and an enclosure as well.

I purchased this amplifier on 12/28/24 and it arrived today 1/5/25 and it showed up inside a plastic bag inside a box with no protection at all while being shipped. Opened the box to see that it's not even a new amp, it's been used and returned. I didn't pay for a used amp so this really pisses me off and it will be returned immediately. You can see all of the scratches and the missing screws in the pictures above. Wtaf

This is a very good beginner amplifier for a pretty basic sound system, as long as you aren't using any super heavy subs and batteries everything should work very well!

I've been into car audio for...oh...30 years or so now. I've developed a bit of a taste for what's decent and what's not. First of all, if it can't do 1 ohm loads, don't come talk to me. Also, real amps come with build sheets. All of them.Luckily, this amp not only performs down to 1 ohm impedance, it also comes with a build sheet verifying power output. And while it may not put out quite as much power as my Kicker KXA1600.1, it's also around 1/8 the cost, lol. That's quite a savings.Power ratings of my 1000.1 according to the build sheet was as follows:1 Ohm x 1 = 1019 watts.2 Ohm x 1 = 709 watts.4 Ohm x 1 = 412 watts.All very respectable numbers.S/N ratio is listed at -93dB.THD and dampening factor is not listed.In addition to all the normal amp features, this amp can be bridged, and by bridged I don't mean you can combine the output of 2 channels into 1. By bridged, I mean you can combine the output of 2 amplifiers into one. So let's say you want to power a huge 15" or 18" 2 ohm subwoofer that can handle 2,000 watts RMS. Normally I would recommend a big budget amp to run such a load, starting in the $500 neighborhood...minimum. However, if you were to run 2 of these amps, using their bridging method, you could combine the 1000w output of 2 amps to make a nice 2000w RMS amp (with a 2 ohm load limit, as the amps are connected in parallel) for around $200 bucks. That's a pretty neat trick.So anyone that wants to build a hugely powerful system on a hugely limited budget, should take a long hard look at these Stinger amplifiers.ย In all, the build quality, sound quality, and power output of this amp is quite impressive, especially when you consider the price point it occupies. By that metric, it's an absolute steal of a deal. And the fact it's quite flexible in its application to boot means these amps are going to be hot sellers. 5 stars and a recommended buy for folks looking to do a lot with a little.

I really love the boost this gives. They did a really good job on it. It stays cool. It was easy to set up because the instructions were clear and simple which is the bonus. If you know what I mean, I'm really happy with it. Good job!
