Mounted on a Tohatsu 9.9 it worked great as advertised. Be careful when drilling holes as if they are off because the drill bit walked it does take some fiddling to get the bolt thru the hole. Mounting is straight forward I’m running a slightly larger prop and I did have to trim some of the plastic. It looked like it would work with a factory prop though. It was very windy and really can’t compare to base line top speed. BBBUUUTTTT I can say it will come out of the hole sooner conspired with out it used a timer to check it.

Product slowed my boat down, it did not work at all, and now i have 4 permanent holes on my outboard motor that will be there forever. Keep your money

The mounting hardware was useless. All four machine screws and lock nuts could not be fully tightened and could not be removed once partially tightened. I had to use an impact driver to break the screw. I recommend purchasing four 1/4 by 20 by 1 1/4" stainless steel bolts an lock nuts to mount. Other than that this worked great on my boat an had little to no effect on speed. The boat planed out faster and was more stable in rough water. Overall I am satisfied with this product.
