It is easy to use. I have arthritis and cutting strawberries hurts my hands. This did a great job! Made cutting strawberries much easier.

This slicer was fun to use and did a nice job on strawberries, a banana and hard-boiled eggs. The bottom of the cup has sharp blades, and the removable base has deep grooves that help create the slices when you push the cup down into it. After you slice one strawberry and lift the cup up, the fruit stays inside, and you can slice another berry without emptying the cup first. When the cup was filled with 5 sliced strawberries, I emptied it into a silicone bowl (different product, sold separately). A small banana cut into thirds fit onto the base. A hard-boiled large egg was a tight fit and got caught on the edge during slicing. But aside from a few imperfect pieces, the slicing was fast and enjoyable.Cleanup took a while, especially to remove egg yolk that clung to the sides of the blades. Don't let this slicer sit in the sink; clean it immediately after use so food doesn't dry on the blades of the cup and grooves of the base. I used a knife to scrape food off the blades and rinsed with a lot of water. Maybe the company can make a sponge or other type of tool for easier cleaning in the future. Because of the added cleaning time, I'll use this slicer for higher-volume food prep, not one serving.

I was so excited to try out this Strawberry Cup Slicer! I have a smaller cup slicer and many store bought strawberries are too large and did not fit so well in the other slicer. I ended up trimming off the sides with a knife which then creates double the work. This cup slicer is a great size for strawberries! It will fit even the largest strawberries. I have started using a food dehydrator and this is the perfect tool for quick slicing and more importantly it gives even slices. This makes it so much easier when processing the berries in the food dehydrator.Now, there are a couple things I would like to point out. Overall, I feel this has a cheap plastic feel and mediocre quality. While it does the job I could see it breaking fairly easily if dropped on a hard surface. It also comes with the little cap or push plate for pushing the last food through it. It would have been nice if that actually clicked onto the slicer which would make storage so much easier. The cutter basically just sits on it so anytime you want to move it you have to grab both pieces. I also noticed that the blades have a little bit of play and some movement in them which is odd.Overall, this is a cool tool especially if you're going to be slicing lots of larger berries.

It cuts the first time. We’ve cut a total of 8 strawberries before having to empty it! Our little one has difficult eating and this cuts them perfectly!

Doesn’t work that well. We’ve tried slicing multiple small fruit and end up smashing most. I’m sure there are certain food items that work better than others, but I would save your money on this purchase

Not happy with this. Or it’s just not what I thought. The red base or lid, not really sure and I’m not sure if it’s supposed to stay on or not? But it doesn’t. So I’m returning it. I don’t care for it. Again, not what I thought it would be. I’m sad about that too because it looked like a great way to slice small fruit or even eggs.

Was hoping it would be more of a snug base and a little sharper for some of the veggies too. But it works good on softer fruits
