I recently ordered a set of 1,400 glass beads with the goal of making several sets of bracelets for bridesmaids in an upcoming wedding but I didn't have any bracelet string, so when I saw this trio of elastic thread I thought it would be perfect for my project. I seldom work with elastic string so I wasn't certain if an 0.08mm cord would be strong enough, but figured that if it didn't work for this project, I would find another project I could use it for. Fortunately, the 0.08mm size was exactly what I needed. I am very impressed how strong this string is. It has an excellent amount of elasticity and is super easy to work with. I love that it is crystal clear because the glass bead set that I ordered is an aurora borealis color which is almost completely see-through so having a clear string is a must if I want these bracelets to look good for the wedding. Additionally with each roll having nearly 330 feet (apx. 990 feet total) of string I will have an ample amount to complete my project and have room for any potential errors on my part. The little jewelry scissors that come with the set cuts the string easily and has a protective cover which is great if you have little ones running around or if you are clumsy and have a tendency to injure yourself like I do! The spool of each roll of string is also notched so you can easily slide the string into the notch after you have cut the amount that you need which prevents the entire roll from unraveling. This is a good quality product and has a very generous amount of string for an extremely reasonable price. I am very happy that I took a chance and ordered this elastic string because it is going to help make some beautiful bracelets.
