It seems to be a solid instrument. I've had some that came uncrewed pretty quickly however, this one does not seems to be like that. However, I did realize after playing it that it's a little big for my hands. I will continue to use this cabasa.

I received this product and attempted to play it, but the beads would not even move around the metallic disc. This is more for decoration or a toy. As a professional precautionist I am returning it. Do not buy this if you plan to use it for performance. Spend a few extra dollars and buy a LP or other Well known Latin percussion instrument brand.
