Good pump! It's easy to use and includes needed adapters to make connections to my system.Seems to move the needed amount of water with no issues, so I'm happy.

This is exactly what I needed.Full disclosure, I am not using this for its intended aquarium purchase, but I am sure that it would work just as wonderfully for that. I am using it in a rainwater barrel to run to a hydroponic garden! And it works amazing. So if you're looking for something capable of putting a decent amount of water from one point to another.. this would be it! Water pressure is a little lacking, but since I am basically using it for a drip tower, it works perfect for my intended use.

This submersible pump performs well with adjustable flow, suitable for aquariums and small fountains. It’s easy to install, compact, and runs quietly. The built-in thermal protection is a useful feature. The only downside is that the maximum flow can feel a bit weak at times, making it better for medium to small water setups. Overall, it offers good value for those who don’t need a very strong water flow.

We ordered this pond pump because our old one was too small to run our waterfall. This one has just enough power to run the waterfall with a little extra. So far it has not had any issues and works great. We would recommend this if you are looking to run a small fountain or waterfall.

While Hikpeed rates this pump at 800GPH, it is much weaker than my old pump with a similar rating. I will let this one pass since the price of this pump is relatively low. This pump uses a metallic shaft rather than the more durable ceramic one. I am hopeful this pump will keep working with some algae in the water next summer. The current price of $32 CAD is reasonable.

It turns out I ordered the wrong size. The pump was massively overpowered for my 50 gallon tank, and it was quite noisy.I think that just about every pump is going to be noisy whenever you are moving 800 gallons per minute, but this is certainly far from silent. It is significantly louder than my air pump. I don't think I would consider this for placing inside a fish tank, since I would be concerned that the constant noise would disturb the fish.It ships with three barbed fittings, the smallest of which fit my 5/8 ID vinyl tubing perfectly. I am unsure what the larger sizes are, but it worked out fine. I like the design with the intake being situated at the bottom such that larger fish have no chance of swimming toward the intake, however this intake would be virtually impossible to make safe for especially small fauna like fry. Fully grown endlers should be fine.My main issue is with the "adjustable current", since this functionality is achieved by limiting the cross-sectional area of the intake. It's just a plastic flap that you close. I wrongly assumed that there was some sort of electrical adjustment which would make the motor run slower (and quieter). Instead, it consumes the same amount of electricity and is just as noisy. Then, I tried to be clever and limit the voltage via a lamp dimmer outlet, but discovered that the motor would simply shut off if you starved it.Overall, I think this pump should be a great option for someone looking to move a lot of water, but just be aware that it will consume a lot of power and be very noisy.

This is a nice and powerful submersible pump for my hydroponic systems. It's able to suck up water at a fast rate, easily pressurizing and watering several dozen of my buckets through drip irrigation. It's nice and heavy, remaining stable inside the water tank even without the suction cup feet. The handle makes lifting it out easy too. The cable is a bit short though at 4 ft so you have to position it a bit to the edge if you're using a 55 gallon water barrel as a reservoir. A flat tank works easier but it will still need an extension cord.

I’ve been looking for a submersible water pump for some projects, and this one does the job nicely. With an 800 GPH flow (55 lpm) it moves the water with enough force for my projects. A nice feature is that it has an adjustable flow setting, but to be honest I didn’t notice much difference when I adjusted it. Still, the pump works well, and is very quiet in its operation. The pump circulates the water and get the job done. What more could you ask for?

The submersible pump impressed me with its strong flow rate and adjustable output. Whether I’m using it for my garden fountain or aquarium setup, it delivers consistent, reliable water movement. The 800GPH power is plenty for small ponds, hydroponics systems, or water tables.I appreciate the ability to easily adjust the flow to match my needs from a gentle trickle to a more vigorous stream. It runs quietly underwater, which is important for both indoor and outdoor use. The compact size makes it easy to position where needed without getting in the way.Overall, this pump feels solidly built and durable, and the performance has exceeded my expectations for the price. If you need a reliable, adjustable submersible pump for various water features, this one is a great choice.

I am using this quality-built mains-powered 40W 800GPH Water Pump ( see photo ) in a new DIY Zen Garden Fountain and could not be happier with the results. Highly recommended. Can confirm that the ABS-plastic-housing Pump features; a compact 5.5” (14cm) L x 4” (19cm) W x 5.5” (14cm) H ‘whisper-quiet’ submersible pump; a 10’ (3m) maximum lift height; powerful 360° water suction from the bottom for high efficiency; adjustable flow rate; anti-clogging filter; a 54” (138cm) long cable; bottom suction cups; and includes a selection of 3 standard nozzle adapters to connect to user-supplied fountain hardware. Instructions included ( see photo ).It is very comforting to note that the end of the Pump power cable includes the c-ETL listing (signified by the “C” at the eight o’clock position outside the ETL logo), a recognized certification mark indicating the device is approved to Canadian standards by Intertek Testing Services ( see photo ).

Perfect for a small backyard pond. Make sure you have have about 45cm/1.5' of water depth if using in a tank as it propels water quite a bit.Flow rate adjuster is a bit finicky to move, but does the job.
