I purchased the 20lb camo 832 advanced superline, i have several other brands including suffix performance braid as well as berkley, spiderwire, daiwa, pline, etc as well as off brands straight from China. This 832 seems a bit weak compared to most all the other brands including the Suffix performance braid which I like a lot. I broke the line while tying my leaderline 3 times which is unusual. I don’t feel much confidence in this line which means that when I have a fish on, I’m going to be second guessing myself and the amount of pressure I can apply to the fish. I’ll give it a try as soon as the weather warms up.

bought this on sale, somehow I think 832 is the best braid line of Sufix, durable and have a great knot strength, too. never broke unless cut by ice formed in the guide.a year ago tried Sufix high end 131 braid, it seems have better casting since it's thinner and smoother, but the durability is not good, fish broke my line and I lost a fish and a $10 jerk bait.

Before trying this line, I was using several brands of braided line. I used 4 strand, 8 strand, and 9 strand. At first, I really didn't notice any difference with the other lines I was using but then I tried this Suffix 832 and let me tell you, the difference is plain as day.I mostly fish fast moving water with rocky channels and the other lines worked good, but I noticed that after several fishing trips, the lines were getting chewed up from being rubbed on the rocks and getting hit with floating debris. After loading up four of my reels with the Suffix 832 and taking them out for the remainder of the season, I have to tell you the line has really held up to abrasions and stretching quite well. The line will stay on for another season! This 832 is 20lb braid and is very smooth casting and especially fast going through micro eyelets. The thickness is comparable to maybe 6lb fluorocarbon. It claims to be 20lb braid but I think it could seriously withstand greater force as there were several times during the season that I really put it through it's paces by hooking on to weeds and other obstructions and rather than cut the line, I was able to just pull it free. Several fish I caught probably wished the line would snap but thankfully, it didn't.This is my new go to line and coupled with Gary Yamamoto hooks and a few St. Croix and 13 fishing rods, it is unstoppable. As long as the quality of the line continues or improves, this will be my only line used to be a fish whisperer.

Just bought this line for a fishing trip, spooled 3 reels and still had line left over. Caught man sea trout and red drum, never had any problems. Cast good and didn’t knot up

Live the line. It casts good. Just like most lines though, they can’t seem to get the yardage right. 150yds is too much for one reel and not enough for two. You always end up with wasted line. And wasted line is wasted money.

I am not convinced that high-tech braid is better than the simpler and cheaper braids but in terms of performance Sufix 832 is excellent. We have hooked some big fish with this braid and it has held. Its knot strength is exceptional and it is always the last to fail from line to leader to hook.

Great line at a good price! Have already caught many bass on it (with flourocarbon leader) and am enjoying its superior handling, castability, and sensitivity characteristics.
