I have used this chiller on two batches of beer so far. I performs it's job well. Cooled both batches from a full boil to below 80deg in 30mins or less. One of the hose fittings is not machined very well and I have to use two wrenches to really crank down on it and keep it from leaking(the other is leak free with hand tightening). That is the only drawback and the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

These things are always over rated- say they will cool in X minutes, but always take longer. It does work but wastes a lot of water.
