Take it from a former 15 yr Whirlpool refrigeration engineer, these motors are not built to last more than a few months. I purchased one of these motors for my upright freezer, and it quit working 2 months later so I again had to throw away a significant amount of food. I emailed the company and after jumping through many hoops they sent me a replacement fan motor which I replaced again. 3 months later it went out and the company won't respond to multiple emails requesting a refund. I thought one bad motor might be a fluke, but these motors are just cheap and are built to last just past the return window. Save yourself the cost of throwing more food away in a few months and do not buy this fan motor.

Much cheaper than OEM, installed and worked great but has already died after 10 months of use... hoping next replacement will last longer... consider ordering two to have a spare....

Along with a new fan this motor was what was needed to save my freezer from a cold death. Put it in myself in 10 minutes! Imagine how much a service call would cost!

Had purchased and installed the Edgewater Parts 3-60336-001 to replace Whirlpool WP3-60336-001 but I had to cut off 1/2 inch from the fan shaft. This unit appears to be an exact match so it will not require any cutting and thus should take me less than 15 minutes to install this unit.

Works perfect. Nice and quiet. My wife harness clip has additional wires as shown in the photos. I cut the harness off and cut the wires from the old fan to the original harness with enough length to splice together using WAGO wire connectors. Zip ties the wires tight to keep them away from the fan and secure them in place. Works perfect!

Much better motor than the $17 motor I had ordered , installed and it was really noisy. This motor a lot heavier and quite. Sometimes it doesn't pay to buy cheap.

Replacement for our 6 year old whirlpool upright freezer. Was a fit. Was put in 24 hours ago,seems to be working, so far so good, time will tell if it lasts, was half the price of our local whirlpool dealer.
