This doesn’t fit a typical salt block, it’s too small!Did not meet my expectations!

I thought this salt block holder would be great to keep the salt block off the ground and secure. Never thought to check the size of it as all the salt blocks I’ve ever seen are either the 50 lb. size or the small 4 lb.ones. This holder doesn’t fit either one of those sizes. To be fair, one of the photos on the site does have the dimensions but I never thought I needed to check those for something that is such a standard size. This holder is totally worthless to me.

This is smaller than I was anticipating so definitely double check the measurements. I have to say I didn’t. I just assumed the big blocks would fit on here but they definitely do not. Realistically the plastic couldn’t even hold that type of weight anyway. I like that it can be mounted and it keeps the minerals off the ground. I also have found that mounting indoors helps to keep my minerals fresher longer too. Quality is so-so but I don’t have high hopes for this thing having a long life around farm animals.Overall the size is smaller than I wanted. But that’s on me. However the quality isn’t truly rugged so that’s unfortunate.
