I typically wear a 33/34 waist, and the Medium size fit me perfectly. The built-in boxer brief underwear (vs traditional mesh brief style) is something I hadn't tried before, but it's very comfortable, even when wet. I think side pockets are a must for any swim trunk, and the inner/hidden pocket in this one is a bonus. For the price, I'll probably buy another pair.

My wife hates knee length boardshorts, and I hate the traditional baggy short bathing suits with the chinsy mesh liner. I bought 2 pairs of these hoping it was a more acceptable alternative that I would prefer to wear and that my wife wouldn't give me grief about. She likes the way they look and I find them significantly more comfortable than traditional bathing suits. I was concerned they'd be a bit tight to move in, but they're made out of some stretchy fabric that is great in and out of the water. I may get more if I decide I need additional colors.

My husband really liked these for the money. He said they beat swimsuits with the mesh lining hands down, but take a bit longer to dry
