Replaced Koolstop Dura2 carbon wheel pads with these. The Dura2 pads didn’t seem to be providing good enough stopping power. These SwissStop pads made a very noticeable improvement in stopping power. They’re expensive, but worth the money.

These are the best pads in my opinion for carbon rims. Of course who has carbon rims anymore. Sadly almost no one.

Great pads but make sure to dial in a little toe or else you will be playing the music of your people everytime you brake. The only pads I have found better than these for carbon are black princes which are significantly more.

A great upgrade for my carbon wheels. I ride a lot of hills in my area and an occasional mountain or two every year, and these have decent stopping power with very little fade.

Stops as well as I had expected. Not cheap but you get what you pay for

I bought these pads out of need, mine were making loud squeaking when I applied the brakes on my new carbon wheels. These do not make any noise..... Love them !!

I've liked these pads for years. They give good modulation and they have good stopping power on either Al or C surfaces. There are those who say you should switch out pads when putting on carbon race wheels even if you use these because of potential accumulation of Al dust (or something similar) in the pads that might scratch the carbon braking surface. While I can see this in principle, I have never had any trouble with anything like that, just installing them and letting them be. I do give them a pretty through wiping when switching wheels, but that's a lot less trouble than changing them out.I think I have only tried 3 different pads for carbon wheels, so I can't be exhaustive. That said, these have been my clear favorites, with less squeaking and more braking than others.

Swapped the OE carbon specific pads that came on my 2013 S-Works Roubaix for the Yellow Kings and was really impressed.......for about two weeks. I have only a hundred miles on the Kings and they get weaker each ride. The OE pads made a nasty scrapping sound so I shopped around and the Kings got decent reviews from the shops. The Kings were super for the first few rides and as I've already said, after each ride I realize that it takes more and more hard cranking on the brake levers to bring it to a stop on a downhill run at 30 mph. I'm no longer impressed. No idea how they perform in wet or cold weather. It's in the 70's and 80's in Oregon during the summer.
