This is a very nice desk and shelves. My husband put it together and said the directions were easy to follow. It just requires some time. We bought the L shaped desk with hutch and also bought 2 of the side cabinets to go on each side. It looks really good and is a very good quality. Has nice drawers, and cabinets for storage space.Definitely happy with my purchase!

Overall this is a nice looking desk and seems sturdy. The stickers that are provided to cover the cam lock nuts are thoughtfully made. They have different patterns so that you can choose one that mimics the desk pattern surrounding it. This makes them truly blend in. There are also light colored ones for the drawers, but I didn't use them because you won't see them anyway.However, the small drawers are 4 inches shorter than the file drawer. This leaves unusable space for no reason. In addition, the way the drawers attach to the desk onto thick support boards leads to 3 inches of unusable space from side to side. (1.5 inches on each side of the drawers .) This width problem is to make up for the curved design so art last it makes sense, unlike the shorter length for the smaller drawers.
