I don't believe this pack is 30 liters, it seems significantly smaller than other 30 liter packs that we own. I also do not like the metal D rings that are used to hold the top of the shoulder straps to the back of the pack, I find the straps have a tendency to work their way out of the D rings, not a great thing to have happen.I would classify this as a small, not medium sized pack and a number of the design features are not well thought out. I will use it as a bugout bag for the dogs.
