Key Features
Easy To Install
The plane stop is easy to install, All that is required is drilling a 3/4” dog hole. Can be installed in worktops as thin as 3/4"
Versatile
The head has one toothed side with a 25-degree bevel to securely bite into your work, two safe, non-marring edges and a V-groove side to hold stock on edge. The head is attached to a 2-3/8” long x 3/4” diameter brass post that will fit in any dog hole. The post has a tension spring that will hold adjustments and allow easy adjustment. Once installed, it can be easily rotated between sides or removed.
Can Be Removed When Not In Use
Stop can be easily removed and stored elsewhare when no in use. Above example is stop stored in side of bench.

Tooth Edge
Tooth edge bites into workpiece for secure hold.
Safe Edge
Safe edge is non-marring when you do not want tooth marks on your work.
V-Groove Edge
V-groove edge for holding stock on edge
Raised Above Workbench Surface
Can raise plane stop up to 3/4" above work surface for working thicker stock. Post has a tension spring so will hold adjustments.

This woodworking bench plane stop fit will in the 3/4" dog holes in my bench top. The quality is excellent and the price is reasonable. It works!

I’m generally a big fan of taytools and especially their bench accessories, but this leaves a bit to be desired. The spring doesn’t do the best job keeping the piece from rotating, and the screw holding the halves together comes loose frequently. I wouldn’t avoid this product necessarily, but be aware it’s not going to be as solid as a blacksmith made, 1-piece plane stop

Overall, I like the product - but having a steel screw in a brass fitting is possible one of the most unadvisable things I can think of. It constantly gets loose, which makes it frustrating to use as it is slightly oversized for the fitting - making it much tighter than you'd expect it to be - despite them putting a spring in there for looser fittings.It does the job, and I don't see it going anywhere soon - but if you are gonna get it, prepare to make a few adjustments and replacements.

Fits into 3/4" dog holes perfectly, and the thin metal (serrated or pronged side) gives a good grip as a board stop.Handy to have among your selection of workbench holding items.

This plane stop is perfect part if your table top is less than 2" thick. My table top is 2 1/2" thick and taking out when not in use is little bit hard as I have to use screw driver to lift it off the table top in order to take it off otherwise the tooth are perfect and works great.
