From the makers of the award-winning The Crew series: a cooperative The-Crew-style game with easier-to-learn rules and a captivating story to thrill the entire family. Stranded on a desert island in the middle of the ocean, a group of young people must find their way home through a series of 35 missions. Eat, sleep, make decisions — how will the adventure end? Three to five players play cards one after the other — and without talking to each other — until each mission is completed. A gameboard, island marker, various tokens, and special cards help players keep track of the game and offer opportunities to influence the course of the missions.

This is a neat little game with missions that get increasingly harder as you progress. This is not a pick up and play game as the game is expecting the original players playing and not new players to come along in the middle. Technically you could have someone fill in. The overall premise is good and its fun as long as you have patience and the same group of people.

We don’t usually go for co-op games, but this one’s a decent hit. It’s simple to pick up, with missions that gradually get harder, and everyone wins (or loses) together.Who is this for? It seems aimed at kids, but I think it's better for the mild board game groups. Kind of the next step after the party boardgame. OK for families or friend groups who want a break from cutthroat board nights. The no-talking rule adds a fun twist, and the missions are quick enough to fit in whenever.Replayable, adaptable, and easy to teach, especially with the video instructions. Best with 3+ players, but there is a 2 player mode too. More fun if you play with the same crew over time.

We don't play many cooperative games, but this one is a fun one! The group wins or loses together so it's a good break from the competitive family busting games every once in a while.

This game has you complete a series of increasingly difficult missions. They start out very simple and progress in difficulty at a good pace for kids (and adults!). Setting up the first time was a lot to be introduced to, but then it becomes fairly straightforward. Easy enough for my tweens to pick up and hits that sweet spot of not being so challenging they give up, or so easy they're bored. One thing I think is fantastic is the flexibility--you could easily play some missions with fewer or more people, to adapt as necessary, and also start back at the beginning with the same or a different group and the play would still have the same amount of challenge each time--excellent, endless replayability! HIGHLY recommend!

This is a great game to start with a couple of you get gamers or a friend group that is new to gaming. It’s a cooperative game meaning the group wins or loses together. But this is built on a series of missions that scale aka get harder as you play along. Given it is meant for a family game that means it will be great for newbies to modern gaming as well. It will start off easy and get harder as everyone learns the game and how it works. I’m excited to play this once I get a regular crew together. A small box but a lot of play time as people will get together time and time again to complete all the missions together.

Although this game has a 2 player mode, it is best played in a group of 3 or more. The game is quite fun and gets more challenging as the game progresses. You may not finish it in one sitting, so it's best to keep track of stats along the way, so you can continue at a later time. The instructions are easy to follow and the mission book tells you what you need to do. The game has a "no talking" aspect to it, which makes it fun and adds to the challenge! Overall, highly recommended. If you're a group player, add this to your collection. 5/5

I haven't played The Crew, but have heard of it.I was going to give it 3 stars for being so simplistic, but I realized that there aren't many cooperative games that you can play one mission in a short time like this one, so it might get more plays than the longer games in our houseThis game is basically moving one rook around a 3x7 board. The individual missions tell you which spaces you have to travel to each round, and each player gets a random set of cards with the spaces on them. You can't talk out your plan, but you can use a special token to show teammates one card. There are special cards that let you mine diagonally like a bishop and L pattern like a knight. This will be fun for a few missions, then only the narrative will be interesting for older players and adults. But like I said the play time is short so it might hold interest for one mission.Recommend for younger kids, for those who want to learn chess eventually, and for just a quick play occasionally.

It's a fun game for families or game parties with repeat/consistent members. The game revolves around multiple progressing missions with various objectives. It's easy to learn and actually has video instructions you can watch on your phone if your not a fan of reading them.Something to consider:The game revolves around the SAME players continuing through the missions. This isn't a game for random players. Technically you would have people sub in but they would have to pick up in another players spot.I'm also not sure of the replay value since I haven't finished it yetIt seems pretty well made.
