Seems like a nice enough set, but a bit small and lightweight for my purposes (so 4 stars - quality is fine, but size is a bit lightweight for what I wanted it for).

Completely useless as jewelry tools. They're too small and easy to break, hard to hold while using. Maybe good for children, but not an adult and arent good for anything stronger than a thin necklace ring.

I was using my sister's set to make bracelets. I was so glad when I purchased these and got my own. I use them religiously and makes it so much easier to do clamping and gripping a lot better. I also like that they have a variety of tools in the pouch. They're easy to use and easy to hold.

I didn't really need this kit as I own a large Beadsmith set that has served me well for years, but I was able to nab this for less than £5 so I figured it was worth the risk to have a small set that I could take with me to craft fairs or the like. Unfortunately, it was quite a disappointing purchase. Everything about it screamed "Cheap!" and it felt so inadequate for purpose. I find this really surprising since I've been using Beadsmith products for MANY years. If you're serious about your jewellery making, don't be tempted to get this, especially not at full price!

They are not lying when they describe these as Mini, Tiny would maybe be a better word. They do work fine for what I use them for, and that is building coils for a personal vaporizer. They are made decently well, as small as they are I don't know if they could really be made any stronger. But for small jobs they work pretty good, if you have small hands they might work a bit better for you, but I can still use them with my meaty fists so they aren't too bad, I do like the needle nose pliers and I'm waiting on a new drill battery before I attempt any builds I will need the nylon pliers for, but they will be fine, they are the main reason I got this kit, but I can see now why a set of nylone pliers by themselves cost what they do, because they aren't extra-small-tiny like these lol. But for the price these aren't bad and the case they come in is made well.

These tools are tiny! All of them can fit in the palm of my hand (and my hands are pretty small). All are still perfectly usable though. Don't expect professional quality tools at this price point. The included case is a definite plus.Pros:-Compact- Very portable. The tools and case could easily fit into an average sized purse.-Versatile- The tools that came in the kit could be used for a variety of crafts. Personally, I don't use them to make jewelry. I use them to bend wire into shapes and letters, and this is perfect for that.-Price- You get a lot of tools for the price! At around seventeen dollars including shipping, that works out to a little over two dollars per tool, and even less if you count the case it comes with. You can't beat that price.Cons:-Wire cutters- The wire cutters are pretty weak. They work okay for 24 gauge wire (pretty thin), but you do have to squeeze harder than you should. They'll work in a pinch, but I'll just use my Leatherman.-Oil or rust on the tools- There was a rusty looking oil covering the "hinges" of two of the pliers. I was alarmed to see this, but it seemed to wipe off easily. Some of it is still on the rims of the hinges, but it doesn't seem to affect the tools themselves.-Seems old- The set that I got seemed like it had been sitting on the shelf for a while. The velvet lining in the case was mildly dented/discolored from where the tools are placed.Overall, I would recommend this tool set. The cons are acceptable for the price and for the fact that this tool set makes my craft so much easier. The tools are good for a beginner or a hobbyist- be realistic about your expectations, and you won't be disappointed.

I spent a long time comparing every set of jewelry tools/pliers, carefully considering price and variety. I'm glad I settled on these. They serve my purposes perfectly. I needed them to repair some chains/clasps, and also for various household repairs and fixes of small items. The plastic-jawed pliers are especially useful when you don't want to leave a mark. Now that I have these, I reach for them constantly to do all kinds of small, formerly awkward tasks. No, these are not made-in-Switzerland, hand-polished, drop-forged quality. However, they work perfectly well, are comfortable to hold, and are absolutely fine for my needs and probably for the needs of anyone who's not a pro.One thing to note: These are small, as they must be in order to do precision jobs. For example, the needle nose pliers are 3 inches long-- about as long as my index finger. That's not a flaw, but it is something to be aware of if you are a person with mobility limitations or very large hands.

Love this set ! But like it states they are very small. They were a little hard to handle at first but I quickly got used to the size, I don't have really small hands but they are not big either. As you can see on the picture the biggest one ain't much longer than a standard pair of tweesers. I love grip of the foam handles.
