This is a great product and exactly what it says. It is hallow but I use it for wooden rings and not metal so it works great.

It's hollow plastic, open in the back, but it gets the job done. For the price, it is great! No frills and does what it's intended to do.

Does what is says it does. It is plastic, and it clearly states that, and it works fine sizing rings. Not for hammering metal and won't take a huge amount of stress, but nowhere does it claim that. So if you need something sturdy, choose a metal mandrel. Otherwise this is the one for you.

I needed to find out what size a bunch of rings were and this inexpensive mandrel works just fine. Seems to be accurate.

It's not as good as I expected and I will have to buy another as it is only american sizing

Needed a cheap mandrel to size some rings that the whole set was mislabeled. Served its purpose for that but wouldn't be good for jewelry making.

Cheap plastic, I wouldn't use for rings, but we do use it for other wire wrapping purposes.

This ring mandrel isn't a solid cylinder shape all the way around which was the only downside. But it's light and easy to use. I've rounded out quite a bit of rings since it came in the mail and none of them look lumpy at all. I'm really satisfied with the results I get when using this mandrel.

Sturdy enough to form wire wrapped rings on. It does have a big groove in the back that puts a kink in the wire but it works out if you put the focal point of your piece there while building. Not what it is advertised to be made for but works well for these projects
