parallel pliers vs regular pliers

I got a nice pair of pliers but not round nose. I've sent them back.

I am hoping to find a silicone cover for the handles. So far no good. The handles are very slick and there is a lot of tension from the spring. If I not careful they push out of my grip. You should make something to give a good grip on the handles.

All in all I like these pliers. The only bad things are that the handles spread so far apart that it puts strain on the hand operating the pliers. It's really not conducive to long work sessions. They do what they are supposed to do, but after long work sessions the handle separation distance takes it's toll on the hand of the average person.Don't get me wrong, I like the pliers, I own two pair. Price point is good at around $20, considering a new pair of German made rosary pliers is running around $43 on Amazon. In all fairness I do have to admit that the $43 rosary pliers are excellent. The last 2 pair that I owned lasted a little over 2 years before breaking from extended use.Anyway, all in all they are excellent pliers for the price. These do need to be offered in a handle spread that would comfortably fit persons with smaller hands to help stop discomfort in the hands and therefore extend working time on projects.
