I swear by these. But too spendy, just use any old shirt you were going to toss anyway, cut out three pairs of button holes, and you are good to go.

My husband found these (or a similar item) at a store about 15 years ago and either lost or gave away his other ones. Since he had only one left, I had to scrounge the Internet to figure out where to buy more. These are long-lasting and easy to use. 10/10 stars if Amazon went that high.
