U-Joint Snap Ring Pliers
The unique jaw is specifically designed to easily remove and replace Hotchkiss style snap rings on universal joints.
- These pliers can be used to break loose, remove and replace even the most highly-corroded snap-rings
- Can also be used to remove plastic (push-pin) retainers on several makes and models of late model cars
- Application: Commonly found on class 1-5 trucks, cars, atv/utv and equipment.
- For use with Ford F-150/550, for use with Chevrolet 1500/5500, for use with Ram 1500/5500, etc.

Handy tool. Much easier to remove trim clips than the screwdriver/prybar style.They can have a tendency to mangle the clips.

If you deal with plastic trim clips on any vehicle you might have an assortment of removal tools from the basic lever style which are never thin enough to get under the head of the clip to some of the more "advanced" tools. These pliers from Tiger Tool are better than all of them. For many styles of clip, these will pull the center out and easily remove the clip, especially on the more stout Honda/Nissan style clips with the difficult to remove center portions.I haven't even tried them on a u-joint clip despite owning them over 6 months at the time of this review but considering their price point, I would recommend these just as trim clip pliers, they are that good.

This is one of those tools that once you have them you wonder why you didn't get them sooner.They are reasonably priced and decent quality. Shipping was fast I would definitely recommend them.

Worked great for changing the u-joints on my '71 Chevy K10 pick-up. A little bit pricey for the tool, but then again it's made in Taiwan, not China, and the quality of the tool shows it. Sure beat using a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. Much safer too.

Purchased mainly to remove the GM style of retainer clips and it works awesome for that, haven't had a chance to try it on U-joint clips yet but I don't think it'll stand up to that usage for long.
