i got this simple item to try and fix my toilet seat hinges since this was pretty affordable and works on my standard toilet. i dont do stuff like this often AT ALL so figuring out how to install this was actually a lot more difficult than i expected. it didn’t come with instructions so i just had to refer to the product images in this listing which is fine i guess, but i was used to printed instructions whenever i try to upgrade something in my home. even following the instructions, i just was not confident that i understood what i was doing or that i even did it right. my toilet seat had been loose ever since i’ve moved into this place 5 years ago and this year the toilet seat finally just came completely off. it was time to get something like this to reattach it.now i will say, at the same time, i did decide to try and upgrade and add a simple bidet to my toilet. it’s something i’ve always wanted to add but just never put in the effort to get it. i did get it attached and was worried that this wouldn’t be compatible. it isn’t the most secure fit, probably because of the type of toilet seat lid and the addition of the bidet attachment, but it is still more secure than it’s every been since i’ve lived here. so while not perfect, it does work better for me than how it was before adding this!

Handy tool to fix common seat issue. Fits secure and looks pretty good installed. Easy to install. Worked well with my seat and didnt take long at all.
