This is the second one, I returned the first thinking it was a one-off but the threads are cut on the wrong set of ears. The black mount is a stock scx24 mount and lets you sandwich the servo and axle mounting tabs correctly. The Torq servo threads are cut into the forward ears and dont let you mount the servo so that all the tabs are pulled together.

I was happy with the torque & speed of this servo, unfortunately the output gear is a MAJOR weak point with this servo IN THIS APPLICATION. I'm sure in other applications it performs just fine. It only lasted through approximately 2.5 450mah 35c battery packs. I requested a replacement, which went quite smoothly. That unit failed to last through even one 450mah 35c pack, before suffering the same fate. Upon inspection, it was discovered that it was missing the output bearing inside the top case, so QC concerns also enter the conversation. I probably won't be purchasing another of these units, until the output gear situation has been remedied.
