I knew going into it that it may have a holographic look to it and it did. Picture is not as good but it does work. Seems like you have to push just a tad more for screen to respond. Also the screen face was lightly scratched. Not very noticeable but it was. What you expect for the price. All in all of your screen doesn’t work and you are desperate then this is good. Otherwise shop higher quality screen on eBay for about 80.00.

Installed in a 2006 IS350 with an unresponsive touchscreen. It wasn’t hard to install, just be mindful that the ribbon cable looks slightly different than the original.

Fits perfectly and functions as expected. Install is fairly technical, but if you've done any electronics repairs, it's not too bad.My only regret is that I wish I had also done the LCD screen while I had my unit all taken apart.

I am very happy with the quality and fit. I have changed these out on phones before so it was nothing new. The installation was easy, it comes with little strips of adhesive. Overall great product.

Did not work - looks like inconsistent quality with this screen/company. Very disappointing :(..Huge amount of hard work down the drain. It would be nice to check the screen functionality before sending out a bad screen to the customer.Also very careless packaging - screen was sandwiched between 2 cardboard pieces. There was some type of glue around screen, which got stuck to the cardboard, so first thing I had to do is clean that up... Also no peel-back screen protectors - and screen tape not included, like I saw from other sources.

First, the important stuff...I followed a video "Lexus IS 250 350 Navigation Touchscreen Digitizer Repair - Highline Car Care" on Youtube along with a thread "Frozen Navigation Screen Fix DIY" on Club Lexus. Those two should get you through the repair without issues. It took me around 2 hours total, but I already knew what to expect with the vents (toughest part if the tabs are broken, so be careful).Note that the new digitizer will have a different ribbon than OEM. It will still work fine. Also note that when taking the radio assembly apart you have to be careful with the ribbon cables and use some finesse to release them before pulling things apart, and take your time putting them back in after all is done. No need to rush this repair.The repair went great, no rainbow effects, no problems at all. I'll update later if there's any issues down the road, but when the dealership wants $,$$$ to replace, I'm beyond pleased with this DIY solution and would do it once a year if I had to.

The touchscreen stopped working on my 2008 Lexus IS250 and the dealer (stealership) will just tell you to replace the whole radio & head unit for $2000 (Robbery in broad daylight at its finest). After a 2-3 hour install, this touch digitizer works perfectly and now the screen is back to functioning just like before. Only cost me $40 and a few hours, well worth it. There are plenty of videos on Youtube that walk through the whole process.In case you were not aware, the LCD screen must still be functional as this is ONLY the touch glass part. If your screen is black or not displaying stuff correctly, you might also need a new LCD too not just this touch digitizer.In my case the screen was displaying everything fine but only the touch was not working and so this is the only part you need for that.Just wanted to add: Mine did not come with double sided tape so I bought some for $5 from Canadian Tire

My wife’s screen was frozen on her 2008 Lexus IS350. I took a chance on this one and it arrived ahead of schedule from Singapore and well packaged. We carefully followed the video on Highline Car care to remove and replace as the digitizer does not come with instructions. It already has 3M double sided tape on it so no need to buy more. With my wife’s help we completed it in just under two hours total including removal and reinstallation of the head unit. Used her blow dryer to soften the tape for removal and a small plastic spatula to help lift it up gently. And here is what you wanted to know.....NO RAINBOWS and it functions perfectly. Reflection or glare is same as original and screen is just as bright. I would dare a Lexus technician to tell the difference.Did I mention it was only $25 ish including shipping to Saskatoon. Nuff said.
