This product is absolute trash. Don’t waste your money. The Instructions are terrible, the included hardware is of extremely poor quality, and suspension does little, or nothing, to improve the ride of the mower. In the end, it’s just an expensive seat riser.

First off installation was a pain! Holes did not line up on my Hustler MDX. It was here and with about an hours time I found a way to mount it. This was months ago but if I remember I mounted it upside down with some bolt changes.Anyway the suspension is not that effective. I kept it for the seat slide, it works good making easy adjustments for my shorter wife and I.It still will bottom out over any bumps greater than a normal lawn should have, da#m pocket gophers.

Have 2 cub cadet super tractors and Fabbed these onto each of them and they saved my back and butt. It was a pain to install, but they are worth the effort and they are well built..One tractor is a dedicated front loader, the other a mower...I used to feel like I rode a bucking bronco for 3 hours after I was done cutting the yard but now no more pain..These suck up a lot of the jarring bumps..I took the rubber bumpers off to get a littler more travel out of this and no problems..Easy to adjust the tension and still have the original factory sliding mechanism...May have to use stand offs for some installs as some seats are built with a slant from front to back and this is not so I raised my height in the front using 1" tall standoffs between the frame and sheet metal and works great..

Made a significant difference in the ride quality, Feels like a different mower.I like the addition of the seat rails, only had bolts in slots to make adjustments prior to installation.I was a bit apprehensive about spending this much, but now I see it's worth every penny.Comes with grade 5 and grade 8 hardware, the build quality is excellent (as a made in USA product should be). Installation isn't too bad but the instructions could be better. I watched some videos before receiving the kit so I had an idea of what to expect (drilling 2 holes required).I like having the seat a bit higher so the fact that it raises the seat height was a benefit for me.Overall I'm very happy with the suspension kit and I highly recommend it.(Trac Seats could easily add 2 holes so the kit would be a direct install for 2021 and newer mowers.This really needs to be done as having to drill holes for mowers that have been out for 2 years is ridiculous).

I have a 60” Hustler Raptor SD, and 2.5 moderately rough acres that were beating me up every time I mowed. After installing this, I drove a lap around the property at full speed and the difference was amazing. Smooth ride with no jarring, and the higher seat position is much more comfortable (an unexpected plus). Only took an hour to install; perfect fit with no drilling required. The included instructions were a little skimpy, but if you’re the least bit mechanically-inclined they’re not really needed as the installation is pretty obvious.

I have a Big Dog Alpha MP with a 54' deck and a yard that is definitely not anywhere near golf course smooth... so at one point I was looking into a new mower with a full suspension seat, but I do like my mower. I bought one for the Hustler Raptor with the slide kit included... I did try to follow the instructions and eventually took fate into my own hands and just installed it. Took about 40-min and that included having to drill out a couple of holes that their alignment were off by less than 1/8". I expected to have to possibly do it, so no surprise or challenge there. Once all lined up and test fit installed -- all was good and then tightened everything down. Would have been nice to get some allen head bolts with washers versus the standard hex head, but the included hardware was more than sufficient to install.The good.... the seat now is adjustable with the slides forward and back.... and you will need it. The ride is definitely really good... the first time mowing I was not completely sure, but the second, third, fourth cuts it became apparent that the ride was much improved. I have changed the adjustment and the last time I cut the yard on the one washboard section.... I noticed I was cutting at a faster speed than I was before. So overall that is a definite win. Would I have liked to have their top of the line seat? Absolutely, but for the price this suspension kit is worth having.The not so good...sort of. You will be sitting higher by 2-3" which requires you to either be able to lean your levers forward (mine do not have the capability) or you have to push the seat back.... the reason is when you go into reverse, you lose some throw from the levers. Having the adjustable seat base -- that easily resolved the issue. Otherwise it took a couple of times to get use to sitting higher.... but the last couple of times I didn't even notice.Yes I want their ProRide Suspension Seat and if my stock seat had any issue at all -- I would have rationalized buying it....but my stock seat is perfect and overall I am happy with the mod to the mower.
