I make my own soap, and I prefer to use it when I'm traveling. I was looking for a travel soap dish that would keep the soap elevated so I could dry out between uses. OK, this does that. But it could be done better. First, these things are huge--they take up a lot of space. They will hold a full bar of soap, but I don't need to carry one that big when I'm traveling. Second--and this is the biggie--I don't really feel secure that the dish will stay shut. If it's jostled around, it will pop open. So it needs to be tucked away securely when you pack. Fine, but I'd just as soon not have to worry about it. And finally--the red thing they say is a "handle"? Totally unnecessary--not even close to being useful as a handle. So yeah, it does what it's supposed to do, but it could be done better.
