This must remain plugged in at all times to function. The massive housing and large voltage make me extremely concerned for placing this in water with children. Attached to the large black housing are two short but flexible tubing pieces to keep the water pumping. These "arms" are too short to comfortably fit in a standard water table, further you have to keep the table to close to an outlet.

Good water control, right speed and amount to have water flow.Only thing to mention the pump need to be immersed completely in the water to work, so the shallow side does not work, also need extension for the electric definitely.

We don’t own a water table, but my wife thought this would be a fun addition to bath time for our toddler—and she was absolutely right! It doesn’t suction well to our metal tub, so we placed it in a shallow plastic bin inside the tub, which helped a bit but still wasn’t very stable. The suction cups could definitely be larger for better support. That said, once it was set up and running, our toddler had a blast. We let them know not to mess with the arm since it wasn’t super sturdy, and they were able to play without knocking it over. Overall, this is a big step up from a basic water dispenser—the fanning nozzle is especially fun!This review is unbiased and based on my personal experience. This is a nice pump but i didnt realize it had to be plugged into an outlet when i ordered it. Most are rechargeable and cordless so i thought this one was too. I dont have an outlet near our water tables so im unable to use it but it does seem nice, well made and easy to use. I tried it out in the bathtub and it functions as it should. Its a good price when comparing to similar type pumps. Its my fault for not noticing that it wasnt battery operated, im sure we will find another use for it.
