Did not even get one full year out of this product. Purchased and installed in April 2024. Tilt tube was tight after putting the boat up for the winter. When i turned the wheel it felt like the cable snapped. The cable did Not snap, but the cable housing blew out right by the steering assembly (see photo). This should not happen! My previous cable lasted several years.

Nice cable to replace my existing Morse cable. It was easier to run than I expected and an exact fit. It is a little tricky getting it in and out of the tilt tube if you have limited clearance. The boat steers very smoothly now.
