Need a pair anyway. Too small for my needs.

I have sacrificial fences of different heights for my table saw having t-slots that have varying heights above the table.. I think using those will make these guides more flexible with different thickness workpieces..maybe I’ll make one specifically for 2 by stock since I work with that alot

First of all, this tool came with no instructions. The one way roller seems to work, and the spring that provides "down-force" works. But with the parts I received there is no way to mount and use this tool on anything. The threaded rod... the one shown in the listing photos sticking out of the tightening knob... is way too short. It isn't even long enough to make it through the width of the tool, let alone engage with the knob (see photo).I think this would work if I had a longer threaded rod. It also seems like it needs different bushing for the mounting hole, which is much larger than the threaded rod. That large of a mounting hole will allow the tool to slip positions while in use. That could make this more dangerous than not having the tool at all.I looked around my shop and didn't find a longer piece of threaded rod so I was unable to try the tool. I have used similar products in the past and they are easier to use than a feather board. Of course I don't expect this thing to make perfect cuts for me. This is just a tool that assists in keeping the work flat and helps keep the work from kicking back.I really wanted to like this tool. The correct parts and some instructions would have helped.

I really like the IDEA of this "featherboard" with a wheel. This is exactly, I think, the right way to make certain kinds of cuts. However, the execution on this particular model does leave a bit to be desired and will likely require quite a bit of adaptation to your particular saw. The biggest problem is that it's simply not as adjustable as it really needs to be. It's fairly sturdy in its construction, which is nice, but if you don't happen to need it configured exactly as it is out of the box, you're likely going to need to spend some time making jigs or fence extensions to make it work for you...and if you're taking the time to make jigs anyway, that kind of defeats the purpose of buying an "off the rack" product. That's not to say it's bad. It's not, and I will find some uses for it in my shop. Just not quite as many uses as I'd initially hoped.

It will definitely have to be adapted. My table saw fence is four inches high with a t-slot on top. This can be mounted on the face, and there are holes already drilled in three places. So it will work on both my router table, band saw and table saw. Looks promising !

I have a 3 inch tall fence with top t-slot at 2.5 inches from saw table to mount this device. The device body is too large to allow 2X lumber to pass under it. Wheel surface is slippery, offering insignificant resistance to kick-back.

Have these modified custom for my use case, they seem great, but I haven't actually started running wood through them.
