Works well for opening cans. It's definitely a little larger but works well enough.

Iโve been using this can opener regularly and itโs been a great addition to the kitchen. Itโs easy to use, reliable, and works with a wide range of can sizes. You just place it on the can, press the button, and let it go to work. It leaves a smooth edge with no sharp points, which is exactly what I was hoping for.We also have an elderly family member living with us, and this has made a big difference for them. They donโt have to strain or struggle with a manual opener anymore. The device is lightweight and fits comfortably in the hand, but since you donโt need to hold it in place during operation, itโs even more convenient.I also have a larger countertop model that takes more effort and precision to use. This one is much simpler. If youโre looking for a straightforward way to open cans without hassle, this is a great pickโespecially for anyone with limited hand strength or mobility.

Goes through batteries absurdly fast, and itโs not even powerful enough for tough lids.

I wasn't sure if this would work but I was tired of using the manual can openers that somes catch on the edge and sometimes don't. So I thought I would give this little device a try. When I ordered it I didn't read the description close enough and assumed this would be rechargeable but instead it requires 4 AA batteries. Not a deal breaker but something to be considered. Once I loaded the batteries in, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy this was to position on the can. It did not require master precision and skill, just put it roughly on the can's edge and it does the rest. Once it's aligned you just push the button and let go. I still find myself keeping my hands near it as it makes it's way around the can's top. How it doesn't fall off I don't know but I've used it to open several different size cans and I've never had an issue. It moves a little slowly so you may need an extra second or two compared to "normal" for each can, but it makes a clean cut, separates the lid from the can without a sharp edge so you stay protected, and with a second touch of the button, it turns off and you're ready to go. Very good opener!

This battery powered electric auto can opener works as expected. Nice and simple operation. More convenient than using the usual plug in electric can opener and less effort than using a manual can opener. The auto opener works itself around the can and automatically reverses once it goes over where it started to help release the top of the can for easy opening. The auto opener leaves a smooth opening on the can and you can even reuse the top as a non sealed lid for temporary storage in the fridge for the remaining contents to avoid having to use and have to later wash a container for it.

I got this because my mom has really poor grip strength after an injury and surgery a few years back. We have tried other can openers that were supposed to be good for that sort of thing but they just weren't and we didn't really want to go the route of having an automatic can opener that stands on the counter all of the time so when I saw this I thought "Hey! That might be nice!" Well I was wrong, it isn't nice, it is FANTASTIC! Sorry for the mislead lol, it really is great though. The can opener does require 4 batteries which adds a little bit of weight to it but the performance is wonderful. It sits perfectly on the lid of the can and once you push the button it just does it's thing and travels around the edge of the can. You do have to press the button a second time for it to reverse and release but it is pretty close to effortless, the cut is clean and smooth, and it opens a can in about 4-5 seconds. Overall very happy with the performance and the product.

Using this can opener couldn't be easier. Place it on the can, press the button...and wait. This thing probably takes about twice as long to run around the can edge as I would with a manual can opener, but it seems to work well regardless - and, of course, it is effortless, so, there's that. Once it has completed a full circle, you press the button again to stop it and remove it from the can. There is a magnet that *might* pick up the lid of the can, but since the cans I tested on were all aluminum, it clearly didn't work, and I had to use the built-in lid grabber. Or, of course, my hand. Either worked.Overall, while this is no speed demon, it does get the job done - and could be very useful for individuals with arthritis or other issues that make working a manual can opener difficult or impossible.

It does exactly what it says it will. It attaches to the can once started and goes around the can completely before shutting off. The edges of the can aren't super sharp, helping to minimize chance of cuts. It's very helpful if you have arthritis especially and can't grip a regular can opener. It does have a small built in attachment to help take the lid of the can off once done as well. It is a bit loud and nosy, but it's comparable to most other electric can openers I've heard in the past. It runs off 4 AA batteries and is a bit heavy but still easy to carry and use one handed.
