About this item

  • Carving and Engraving Bit: Shank diameter: 3.175mm / 1/8"; cutting angle: 30 degree; tip size: 0.2mm / 0.008"; total length: 28mm / 1.1". Sharp edge provides smooth cutting, no glitches. Fits most small rotary tools and grinders.
  • Versatile Tool: Can be used for carving, cutting, engraving, milling, slotting, grinding, finishing, 2D or 3D sculpturing, surface machining, etc. The deep angle and sharp point allows for precise details.
  • Carbide Materials: Made of solid carbide (tungsten steel), high hardness, wear resistance, good toughness and heat resistance. Provide good cutting strength and drilling effect. Fast engrave and cut to improve efficiency.
  • Application Materials: PCB, MDF, ABS, PVC, wood, plywood, hardwood, color plates, acrylic, nylon, plastic, hardwood, MDF, copper, aluminum etc..
  • Notices: Need to increase the speed and reduce the feed rate to avoid tool breakage, when engraving harder materials.

Information

Made of solid carbide (tungsten steel), high hardness, wear resistance, good toughness and heat resistance. Provide good cutting strength and drilling effect. Fast engrave and cut to improve efficiency.

Sharp edge provides smooth cutting, no glitches. The deep angle and sharp point allows for precise details. Wood engraving bits with different cutting angles are available. (such as 10 degree, 15 degree, 20 degree, 25 degree, 30 degree, 40 degree, 45 degree, 60 degree, 90 degree, etc.)

Wide Applications

Can be used for carving, cutting, milling, slotting, 2D or 3D sculpturing, surface machining, etc. Suitable for engraving MDF, ABS, PVC, wood, plywood, hardwood, double color boards, acrylic, nylon, plastic, etc..

Fits most small rotary tools and grinders when finishing, grinding, and shaping the work with precision.

Tips

Increase the speed and reduce the feed rate to avoid tool breakage when engraving harder materials. The longer the length of the tool clamped by the chuck, the better.

Combined with the material to be processed, select an appropriate feed rate and cutting speed to improve the tool life and obtain better processing accuracy and performance.

Useless for milling PCBs. It doesn't make cuts, it rips a path. The edges are extremely rough. Other bits I have leave clean edges. Two stars only because I've seen even worse.
