I LOVE this product!!!! I am currently in the middle of a very tedious and painful tattoo removal over a large are of my thigh. I absolutely CANNOT get sun on it which has been proven very difficult in this Texas sun!!! This wrap is SPF protected, So lightweight and dries insanely fast. The white goes with everything and is very practical. Not only does it effectively cover my tattoo area and keep it safe, its really chic and is on trend right now which I love. The quality is spot on, especially for the price! My only regret in all of this- is that I did not discover this product sooner. Plan on ordering more in a few different colors soon! I dont have to worry about damaging the work I had done and can enjoy the sun without stressing about constantly having to reapply sunscreen. I highly recommend this to anyone, but especially if you have something that you are trying to avoid direct sun that is not covered by a typical bathing suit. It is not "sheer" as compared to other "coverups" which makes it highly effective at what its intended to do.

The fabric definitely feels cool to the initial touch, but as you might expect, once you wrap it around yourself, it absorbs body heat and doesn't stay cool. Fortunately however, even when the cooling sensation dissipates, it doesn't feel overly warm or clingy against the body. You could keep it in the car as a shoulder cover up when walking outdoors in short sleeves, because it will provide some sun protection if you find yourself without any sunscreen handy. If you're like me (i.e. a chronically pasty looking person who couldn't tan if her life depended on it), having this wrapped around sun exposed arms could mean the difference between healthy or lobsterfied appendages. I wouldn't substitute this for sunscreen or a hat, and its size limits its use on an everyday basis, but it would be suitable for travel purposes because it could double up as a shawl.

I was surprised that this shawl is a spandex material. Not as lightweight as I expected. It will work as intended though as my daughter needs something to cover her shoulders when going into churches on her Italy trip this summer.

Perfect for what I needed it for! This is incredibly lightweight and perfect for protecting your skin from the sun. It is also super handy at concerts. It folds up TINY, since it is so thin, so its easy to carry and skirts the "no blanket" rule at some concerts. It can be used to sit on grass also so you don't get itchy. I love this item, it is very versatile.

I love these upf wraps. I had a pink one but my mom liked it so much I gave it to her. The blue goes easily with most outfits anyway, so I don't mind! If you're someone who sweats a lot, then more fabric is probably not your idea of cooling down. I'm not someone who has ever really sweated in hot weather and I tend to only go out if it's temperate enough not to need extra help. This wrap will live in the car for the day that we decide to off road into a festival or other downtown situation and I haven't worn long sleeves or forgot my coverup. I like that I could also use it as a cooling blanket when I'm taking a nap in the hammock. So many ways to use it, I couldn't live without one when I spend so much time in the sunshine!

This is essentially a large piece of fabric shaped like a shawl. The material reminds me a little of yoga leggings—it is soft, cooling, and very comfortable against the skin. It feels great to throw on, especially on warm days when you want a bit of coverage without overheating.I tested it using a UV testing card, and it actually works. It blocks out UV rays, which is important to me. I love being out in the sun, but I know I don’t need too much UV exposure. This shawl gives me peace of mind while still letting me enjoy the outdoors.The finish is a little raw, but honestly, I don’t mind it. It adds a casual, throw-it-on-and-go kind of feel that works for me. I plan to keep it in my car—it’s perfect for spontaneous walks or as a scarf when it gets a bit windy. It’s lightweight, versatile, and something I can see myself using often.4.5 Stars
