So I just got these and right out of the packaging you can see the quality. Went to try it immediately. It is made from a very soft and stretchy fabric (85% Nylon, 15% Spandex). The seams are double stitched at the bottom and very clean cut. This poncho is like an extension of your swimsuit. If you are a bikini wearer you will understand what it feels like when the beach begins to get really windy and you suddenly get the chills. This wont break the wind completely, but it will certainly help and is much more comfortable/softer than a beach towel. It also looks super cute. I can also see men wearing this; at least the kind of men that have style and self confidence.

Absolutely perfect and just what I needed. Recently diagnosed with an autoimmune condition that effects my skin and living in sun for 365 days a year state, it was crucial for me to find something to help beat the sun during summer months. Size was good and the color is light and excellent in the sun, I am fully protected now and hopefully help my skin not flare due to the heat. Lightweight and durable, this is perfect for the beach and ultra sunny days. 10/10!

Well, this will definitely keep the sun off your shoulders and head. To me this is a case of looks better in pictures, than in person. The fabric is breathable, laundering is easy. It’s just not appealing to me. It looks like something you would wear to cover your clothes while painting.

The UV protection aspect of this garment is for real!I tested it on a sunny day with a bottle of Blue Lizard sunscreen. The plastic the bottle is made of turns from white to purple if UV rays are happening. With the poncho over the bottle in the blasting hot sun, it stayed totally white! No UV penetration!The texture and drape of the poncho fabric was disappointing however. It’s stretchy, shapeless and a pale blue color - it looked and felt like I was wearing a sheet.I’d love to see this UV protective fabric whipped up into something more stylish.
