I had purchased a 30# shock to replace a bad shock on my Turfco. The 30# shock was not adequate, the 95# was perfect. Now I push the pedal with my foot and I'm moving. With the 30# shock, I needed to actuate the throttle with my hand and the 30# shock would keep the throttle at speed.

I had some garage cabinets where the existing gas shocks had worn out. These seemed to be the right size so I ordered a pair as a trial before replacing the remaining shocks in five more cabinets. They are about the right size; maybe .25" - .5" shorter than the ones currently installed. The force is a little stronger but I have nothing to measure the original shocks with. There doesn't seem to be any standard ratings to follow.I ultimately got them installed but the recommended installation method of removing the clip and replacing it is easy enough on paper but not so simple in practice. Removing the retaining clip with a small flat screwdriver as outlined in the instructions works well enough. It's putting the clip back on that will bust your finger tips. Ultimately what I did was unscrew the old shock from the existing mount and screw this replacement in place. That was far less painful than the recommended installation method.I still have five more cabinets to replace shocks in. These shocks work but they are somewhat pricey for what you get.

I used for my VW Eurovan camper sink/gas stove lid struts replacement. (7.5inch 40psi)Size is perfect fits and good function. Very easy replacement.Previous strut was good for about 10 years. Then struts gas was leaking out.I hope this one's last long time.

Needed a replacement for my old kobalt truck bed tool box. Amazon has the right selection at a great price. Just be sure to follow the guidelines to match the length and force. Hopefully your old strut has this info stamped or printed on there. It's holding up great so far.

The 70lb gas struts are about an inch longer than the factory struts for the 3rd row seats. So, after replacement, they raise the 3rd row seat higher. Happy with the outcome. The seat is heavy. So, use a short piece of 2x4 or 4x4 wood to keep the seat up while replacing the struts. Will see how long this lasts as the factory struts lasted no more than 2 years.
