It runs a little big and slips off the shoulders a bit. The fabric quality is great though - super soft and comfortable.

I ordered this based on the picture of the model wearing it. What I received was a medium quality fabric piece which when on the body is uneven on the sides. It pulls on one side and it's not possible to adjust because it springs right back. Maybe I just received an off piece, nevertheless I can't wear it out. It's okay to wear it around the house on a chillier summer evening, but doesn't look nice enough to wear it out.

Exactly what I’ve been looking for for a long time. Just for reference - I have very long arms, 185 lbs…I wear a large, got the large and it’s perfect…true to size. …and the arms are plenty long enough. The quality is superb. This shrug compared to others may be more expensive, BUT it has a MUCH MUCH better quality of fabric and one that you want in a shrug of this type. It is Viscose. 99% of all of the other ballet shrugs are nylon. Big difference. Viscose is soft and very stretchy and molds to your shape. Nylon definitely does not do that and from experience, will have a tendency to fall off of your shoulders. It doesn’t mold to your body like viscose does. However, because of the fabric, I would definitely wash this in cold water and hang to dry. I loved my black one so much that I turned around and bought 4 more. If you’re on the fence, get these - it’s worth every penny.

I bought this shrug because it is cute, and I don't like to show my arms. I am older and have lost a great bit of weight and my arms are quite flabby. All the cute clothes are sleeveless it seems, and this has given me some options. I also use it with spaghetti strap nightgowns to add a little warmth in the morning while drinking coffee. The only advice I can give to pay attention to the size guide. I bought the medium per the guide and I think I should have sized up to the large. Not a deal breaker, but if I was to buy again, I would size up.
