These are thicker than the red pads by the same company. These pads were difficult to find. I had to do an image search of the red pads which came as stock on my ebike. When I found VGEBY, of course, I got the gold. These were slightly more difficult to install on one of my calipers - which indicates that caliper is crooked, but still functional. After breaking in with a few stops using these pads, I found the stopping power is remarkable, finger tip control; I could not achieve that with the red pads. Play it safe - just get the gold.
